Makes sense, this offense is dependent on the outside zone and the threat of kittle faking his block and getting downfield.

49ers whiffed on a lot of picks especially earlier ones. Ask the Lions and Browns how that turned out. It's not only picks but FA signings like Alexander, Smith and Ford. Niners are very lucky.
