No one is giving two first round picks for any of the QBs in that draft at this point. It's both their development arc AND the fact that they arent rookies anymore and none of them showcased elite-level potential yet.

You give up two first round picks for someone established or you do it when you see a guy with untapped potential and 4 years of cheap contract that you really want and need to leapfrog other teams.

It's really dumb to call it quits after one game. Especially a poor play calling one. Especially one where the defense looked great and terrible at the same time. Ain't no chemistry with Trey and the WRs yet. Only way that happens is playing more games. Can't go off of sporadic starts to judge him. I gotta see a full season.
