Rewatching Punk/DB
-Punk's leg tangle submission looked dope
-DAT CURB STOMP
-Surfboard to Dragon Sleeper was
-DB reversing the baseball slide into a spear outside the ring
-DOSE KICKS....and that double crossbody....these nikkas ARE the same
-Slapboxing while locked in the figure four
-Punk: "I HAD TILL 5" then that smug smile right after
-"THIS IS AWESOME" nuff said.
-Dueling DB/CM Punk chants. loud ones. I hope this stays
-One of Punk's better elbows he's done since he started using it
-Springboard clothesline to DB on ropes was
-King/Booker/Cole were great here.
at King during the tag match tho. This was essentially a 1-match show.
fukk it, not only this is MOTY, this is one of the best matches this decade. And to think we possibly have 2 or 3 more of this. We, the fans, are

yep! great match, great finish and I was 100% glad that AJ didn't interfere in this one.
Yeah I was really hoping they didn't go the AJ route, glad they didn't.
Bryan has a legit claim for a title re-match and if Punk doesn't take it, it makes Punk look soft because he tapped and now looks scared.
They need to keep this going, and I guarantee they will, at least until No Way Out

Punk isn't anywhere near on the same level as Bryan in the ring but he stepped up last night. Bryan was carrying Henry and Show to very watchable matches this year...he practically was acting like a monster scheming heel in the Big Show feud in how the matches were done. He kicked Show's ass for 70% of every match they were in except the Elimination Chamber ordeal.
The ending with Bryan vs Punk was smart in the end...no matter the reactions. He TAPPED out and Bryan is gonna have a field day on the mic with that

Originality is overrated...hell, originality is pretty much nonexistent. Everything is just a twist on something that already existed, and without that original base, nothing would have occurred.
With that said, Punk needs to tighten up moves like the GTS, and that Curb Stomp wasn't nearly as vicious as it should have been.
Besides all of that, why is it that you have to bury someone in order to praise your favorites? Seems unnecessary to me.
