C.M. PUNK VS. DANIEL BRYAN FOR THE WWE TITLE

Excellent match, every bit as good as you'd expect from these two on this stage. Punk retained when Bryan put on the Yes lock and Bryan pulled back and Punk cradled him while Bryan still had the hold on. The ref counted three with Bryan pinned, and a second later, Punk tapped out from the Yes lock. They did every move in the book. Punk worked on Bryan's left knee even using a figure four. Bryan worked on Punk's ribs including doing running knees to the body. Not quite a match of the year candidate, but not far off.

JOHN CENA VS. JOHNNY LAURINAITIS

They went with the obvious, as Big Show knocked out John Cena and Laurinaitis pinned him to win the match. The match was total comedy. Laurinatiis was wearing a rash guard shirt with People Power on it. Cena twice put Laurinaitis in the STF and told Laurinaitis he'd let go if he could last a ten count. The crowd then chanted ten really fast which made no sense for the crowd to do. Cena poured water bottles on him, sprayed a fire extinguisher all over him, tons of gunk came out, and then Cena dumped a full garbage can on him. Laurinaitis walked out and was leaving the arena. Show grabbed Laurinaitis and brought him back to the ring. They did the tease that he was going to destroy Laurinaitis. He threw Laurinaitis over the top rope and Laurinaitis took a clumsy bump. He set up the choke slam, but instead threw him into Cena who had him up for the Attitude Adjustment. Show then knocked out Cena and Laurinaitis pinned him. As wrestling goes, this match was crappy but they got a long time out of it and did enough that it wasn't boring.
