People were way off listing Nate Silver. He gave Trump about 30% chance to win. Y'all realize that if 30% guys in Nate's model never win then THAT would show he was wrong. Trump's margin's were so close, plus that Weiner laptop and Comey announcement changed the game, that 30% looks perfectly accurate.

Nate was one of the few that gave Trump a chance but he embarrassed himself the entire 2016 GOP primary saying Trump won't win the nomination even when he was up double digits. And this year even when Bernie was basically tied with Warren in the polling average in August, he had these tiers that propped up Kamala Harris over Bernie and said it would come down to Biden/Warren. He's not doing it anymore but over the summer/fall he was an awful pundit and constantly jabbed at Bernie. I only use 538 to check polls
You not only completely convinced me, I think I'm getting a subscription to Current Affairs because Nathan J. Robinson just hits it out of the park too regularly to be ignored.
