The piano player name was Rufus or something like thatI thought he was the piano player who got shot up at the brides wedding.
Rufus is the piano player that is supposed to play a song at the wedding. He recommends "Love Me Tender," classic Elvis. It is possible that Rufus is in fact Jules Winnifield from Pulp Fiction. Both were played by the same actor. In Pulp Fiction, Jules says that he wants to "walk the Earth. Like Caine in Kung Fu". He would essentially be a drifter. Rufus claims to be a drifter. Although only a theory with no evidence, it is possible that Rufus is in fact Jules. Tarantino tends to tie characters to other characters throughout his films.
I stopped hanging out with one of my best friends in highschool because he didn't like Pulp Fiction when I showed it to him, he said it was boring as well.
Pulp Fiction fans check this out.....I like the movie more after seeing this
he just sat there with a face and it made me hate him.
That's a little harsh!
I will look at this tomorrow when I have some time!
Yeah, Jimmy had a black wife and obviously u ain't gonna say shyt when you're bringing a dead fukking body to someone else's house but I'm talking script wise, it feels like Tarantino just wanted to say that shyt to Sam Jackson. I felt it was unnecessary. Maybe that's just me? I dunno...
I remember in the interview, he said that character was meant to be another actor but dropped it so he decided to cast himself. I do agree that scene was unnecessary
I remember this video, "Politically Correct Pulp Fiction"

Its not so much that he was saying that to sam L as it was that he was saying it to jules winnfield who was arguably the coolest /addass character the movie had.I often think it was that one scene that solidified him as a legend in a lot of cacs (who are intimidated by black folks) minds. Its like they collectively lived vicariously through QT in that scene. But for most ppl looking on the outside it just seemed misplaced and as u said unnecessary .I did feel like the whole "did you see a sign out of my house that says "dead ****** storage"" routine in Pulp Fiction was unnecessary though. Like he could say that shyt to Sam Jackson without getting checked. I wasn't really feeling that. But apart from that, I'm generally a fan.
