Why is it hard to believe? It's an old marketing tactic that's used often.
Besides, he made/makes more off of them in letting them go than he'd ever make off them on the label

Always thought it was a mistake for Lox to leave Bad Boy. So much hype with them going to Ruff Ryders but didn't turn out the way everyone thought. Money Power Respect was a better album than We Are The Streets, production wasn't even close

Plus Jada woulda been Bad Boy flagship solo artist, imagine him getting some of those A-list 99-01 Bad Boy beats. Whoa, Bad Boyz, Special Delivery, Let's Get It :ohlawd:

The LOX should have signed to Def Jam back in the 90s :unimpressed:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
This is fukking crazy.. I remember reading a Puff interview in the source as it was happening live.... Puff is in the office being interview.. Reporter can't hear the other side but Puff is WILDING.. "Yo why y'all doing me like this? What the fukk? Nah after everything I did for you?" Screaming....

He hangs up and tells the reporter about a situation brewing with The Lox... Talking bout how they had all these shirts made up saying Let The Lox Go... He was pissed......

Reading this... He set that reporter, and all of us, the fukk up... nikka just happened to have that convo right there when he was there too.. Or so it seemed.. Reporter probably went nuts thinking he had a story.. I mean he did. It was huge and Puff was on the cover too. I wanna say The Source..

fukking genius all the way.
