CINCINNATI – Count Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick among the opposing players Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has impressed.

Kirkpatrick's biggest takeaway from Winston's play in the Bengals' 25-11 loss on Monday night at Tampa Bay was the fact the rookie signal-caller made noticeable fixes from his first preseason game.

"He corrected a lot of the things we had seen on film," Kirkpatrick said. "He corrected a lot as far as his eyes, staring down the receiver. He did a great job of holding our safeties off."

I still think Tampa should have traded Glennon and kept McCown.

Not because I think he's better. But a rookie QB needs a vet QB to show him the ropes and and use as an extra eye on the sideline.

Glennon is probably looking out for himself. I cant blame him for that. But it doesnt make sense to have no vet QB around a rookie.

Jennings>>>>>jenkins. With that said, I kinda like our corners this year. I think banks takes that next step into our no.1 guy. Swearinger doesn't have enough to cover deep, but he's solid in the run. I think McDougald shows out this year. he played well in his PT last year.

BTW, when was the last time you've been on pewter? I've haven't logged in forever.

Agreed. I used to be high on Jenkins, but he just doesn't have it. I'm also really high on Verner. He had a good Pre Season, and last year finished the season strong. Should be a good group. Swearinger actually looked good in coverage in pre season, but you know how that goes. McDougald will be a stud i think. Major Wright is solid as well.

I peep out PR when I'm bored at work. It's calmed down a lot. Still a lot of trash opinions, but the racism relaxed quite a bit

Predictions and final thoughts.

6-10. Will probably buy lovie one more year. Jameis numbers: 60%, 22 TD's/16 INT's. Sacked 50 times. Mike evans 1150 yards, 12 Td's.

Breakout player: Bradley Mcdougald. Kwon Alexander will be a fukking problem in this league.

Im tired of being pessimistic. I'll go 8-8. We win or come in 2nd in the division. Jamesis wins rookie of the year and our O line becomes solid by the middle of the season.
