This is a throwback in that we usually don’t get AAA platforming games anymore.

Can’t remember the last story based platforming game with this level of production value. Maybe ratchet but that’s more shooting than platforming.

This kind of brought tears to my eyes, the way they handled mental issues with some subtle comedy.....the aesthetic and look of the game, I've found myself lost in it. Definitely game of the year for me

game mechanics are more intricate than I expected…starting the 4th act/mission now and finally getting a feel for everything…weapons, skills, character upgrades etc…just got the smelling salts…deep game…was expecting it to be very lighthearted…I like it tho

Both Xbox Series X and PS5 are running the game in BC mode. Xbox Series X has a slightly more enhanced BC mode that devs can easily take advantage of. This is an Xbox One X+ version of the game on Series X. Both PC and PlayStation versions lack HDR so I assume they leveraged something within Xbox's Auto HDR feature to implement it.

I'm going PC to play this game. Really, really imaginative art design. I recommend it to anyone reading this thread who is on the fence about it.

this is quite the gaming experience…way more adventure/exploration than action…nothing like what I expected tho…only complaint is bcuz it is extremely story-driven there are A LOT of cutscenes which interrupt the flow of the game imo

This is highly likely to be my GOTY. The experience playing this is amazing. It reminds me in some ways of a Persona game how it dives into the minds and inner thoughts of the characters. It just oozes charm. Sam is hilarious.

she had me cracking up…raz steady be having me laugh too…directly/indirectly lol…as cliche as this is starting to sound for some games, it reminds me of a pixar type flick where the target audience is clearly younger children but there are several moments that the adults in the family can easily enjoy…very creative game
