It'll be only one usb-c wire. Honestly wired is better in almost every way because you talking about putting PS5 tech in a small head unit. shyt wouldn't work and would be heavy as hell. One wire just messes with your mobility and even then if it's a good 7' it wouldn't even be in the way. You got cables that's 10' and 20' long too, so no big deal in my eyes.

The PSVR2 is in a whole different realm, in no way can the Oculus compete unless you a casual.

I'm not even into racing games, but I can't wait to try shyt like GT7 and Ride 4:ohlawd::damn:

It wouldn't need all of the PS5 internals for it to be wireless, Just a decent ARM processer, Wifi chip and a battery

Games like Eleven table tennis, and thrill of the Fight just scratch the surface of total room scale tracking.

I think the true future of VR is actually in full body/room-scale tracking and in high quality AR,

It would be nice if PSVR2 had tether less room-scale.

I don't feel like looking it up now, but wireless has a lot of drawbacks.

It certainly does, it's entirely depending on wireless latency and inference.
It'll also also never look as crisp or be as smooth as a wired connection.

...but when it works, it really works. The advantages outweigh the negatives

It would have been nice as an option.

I feel like they should have both options. But then you paying probably close to $800.

I like graphics and shyt so I'd go wired all the time.
