I've noticed that everyone except Game Informer has stated that there is a "leap in clarity".
I was actually surprised in the Game Informer review. They made is sound like the PSVR2 is BARELY a step up at all from the PSVR1.
I usually side with Game Informer reviews so it did give me a little bit of skepticism now.
Well CNET just told your beloved Game Informer to suck a fat baby's dyck with their review. Who you running with now, fool?

Reviews are strange because the hardware is a 5 out of 5 but the lack of games seeem to be pulling it down

The thing is the reviewers didn’t really get a large amount of games, they are basing it off CoTM and a handful of smaller titles if the developers provided codes.

Theres like 40 launch titles right now, and the two other big ones, GT7 and RE8, no one got codes for because they’re updates they don’t release until next week

If you want the AAA PSVR2 only experiences you have 3 options right now.

I feel like reviewers aren't giving the platform it's fair shake if they aren't testing RE8, Gran Turismo, and Horizon.
If you play RE7 (and now RE8) in VR and say "meh" then fine...the platform isn't for you.
But I'm willing to bet the vast majority of people that actually play that game in VR will immediately understand how VR is the biggest leap in gaming since the initial move from cartridges to discs.

Yeah, it’s like getting a ps5 and not playing Demon’s Souls or even Astro. They should have waited for software reviews until those updates.

But theres a lot of cool stuff they’re doing in CoTM its still gonna be the first thing i play.

Yeah. That’s how the OG was.
You can put the headset on and watch Hulu, Netflix, etc too. Hulu actually has its own vr app that creates a virtual apartment with a huge tv and you watch your shows on it.
When you aren’t playing a vr game you put the headset on and see everything you normally see on your screen except way bigger. It’s cool, but I didn’t use that feature often. In the case of 2d content, a normal tv is preferred despite the virtual size of the screen vs the actual screen

Hopefully thiers cross-platform apps like big screen and meta verse that will be available. Personally i would like a crunchyroll and plex app
