@MeachTheMonster They don't care, remember when I made the threads about PSN and how are they going to improve it since they have to pay for it now? All I got was xbot, stan, deflection etc. Everything but discuss the issue at hand.

So yeah @Kamikaze Revy this proves it was over a week, can't prove how much longer this went, but I knew my memory was pretty correct.

My nephew got a ps4 and destiny for Christmas and didn't even get to try it out before school started back up. That's what I remembered. Might not have been exactly a full two weeks, but it was pretty damn close.

You said at least 2 weeks. I said no. Outages like this always vary from region to region, hence why I didn't have the same experience your nephew did during the holiday outages.
Has PSN had more outages historically than XBL? Absolutely.
Has PSN during the life of PS4 and XB1 had more outages than XBL? Absolutely.
Is the service down all the time making it a complete waste of money? Absolutely not. On most days, the services offer the same exact experience. This is what I've said from the beginning. You keep inventing this argument between us. I have NEVER argued that one is better than the other on here. I've only argued that they are both much more similar than they are different. Don't confuse sarcasm and general apathy about console superiority with actual interest. Save all that for the boys that consistently hit you with power point slides, links to sales figures, and promises of greatness awaiting around every corner.

The PS3 was crippled.
PS4 has not seen that sort of down time.

Again, you're hearing what you want to hear to force it into your narrative. I've been clear from the jump. Its you boys that want me to "pick a side" as has been said a million times but in the same breathe claim you aren't stans of any console.
You're taking those posts out of context. I repeat, the overwhelming majority of days, both networks, AND consoles offer nearly identical experiences. The PS4 has NOT seen the sort of downtime the PS3 did. It HAS however been down more than the XB1. This does not automatically mean the PSN is garbage. PSN today suffers from the bad image of the PS3 outages.
How else would you like it worded Meach so you can go to sleep in peace tonight?
In reality what you want to hear is "Xbox One is the best system, with the best exclusives, and the best network". That simply isn't the case because both consoles have great exclusives, great features, and a great network. I've made the point a million times. Both consoles have nearly the same graphics, same performance, and same experience. I don't have to split hairs to justify my purchases. The only threads I have ever made attacking a platform have been about PS VITA, Playstation TV, and I made a thread stating that I can't recommend an XB1 over a PS4 because they are the same crap.
