3 years later, RIP. I still can't believe it.
My gf actually interacted with Hana backstage at a Stardom show a few years ago. My girl isn't into wrestling at all, but took her goddaughter to see a show when they came through Nagoya. She said Hana was funny and cool as fukk, and had that aura of just clearly being a star even if you didn't know who she was. Since then my girl always kinda kept Hana on her radar because she was captivated by meeting her. She shed tears today when she told me about this.
I'm probably the biggest Io stan walking the earth but as a "star" (not in-ring, but overall package) Hana had the potential to eclipse every other joshi. She was basically everything WWE would want in a performer, everything about her just screamed "money". shyt is just sad af that her story is over before it really even got started.
