I’m about to sell a PS5 to one of my friends for $100 above retail and I got another one that need a series x for his step son’s birthday and he’s trying to get mine for the low like straight retail I’m about to tell him he’s not getting it for retail

You be surprised how many people STILL think they are just gonna walk into a store and pick one up. there are a lot of people who got the big disposable income who ain't really trying to camp out and wake up early to try and get one online either.

400-600 extra dollars for a console ain't gonna be nothing for them if it means not bothering with all the extra bullshyt. I rmeember i bought my wii for like 600 dollars when it released and people were going crazy over them. I wanted it and I had the money so I just spent the extra.

Lol @ people selling the Series X on eBay. After fees it's like a $160 profit after buying the system and paying sales tax here. That's assuming you get $800 for it.

From what I've noticed the prices don't typically go up as time goes on and resellers get the best prices closer to launch. Usually before Christmas people give up on getting them and go in another direction. Either prices start high and stay closer to that level or gradually drop over time as supply becomes better.
