is the playstation gonna be $600 at launch again?
real nikkas will eventually own both
gotta have that xbox first
Altho ill cop both like always I already know xbox will outsell PS3. All sony seems to be concerned about is being more powerful then the xbox. While the wii introduced a new type of casual gamer to the market , they have so far failed to recapture it with the wii u. I see microsoft going to focus on that. Mabe making it more "roku" like. Using ddr3 will probably make it drop 100 bucks cheaper too. If the ps4 is really going to be that much more powerful, how much will if affect pricing? Can they really afford to take that kinda loss?

LOL No breh.
There is no new exotic hardware(Cell/Blu-Ray) to push the cost over the top.

Yea, force Sony to innovate and be better. Not the other way around. Microsoft cannot be the sole console on the market. It must be Sony. They care more about games and gamers.I'll never understand you fan boys choosing sides
Don't we need multiple systems to spur innovation & competition ?
Wouldn't prices go up without competition ?
Don't most of you hard core gamers own both systems anyway ???
Fukk are you choosing sides for when them mofos don't care about you
You making any money from your staunch support ?
Smh at you clowns
We'll begin with the specs. And before we go any further, know that these are current specs for a PS4 development kit, not the final retail console itself. So while the general gist of the things you see here may be similar to what makes it into the actual commercial hardware, there's every chance some—if not all of it—changes, if only slightly.
That being the case, here's what we know is inside PS4 development kits—model # DVKT-KS000K—as of January 2013. As you'll see, some things have changed since earlier kits became available in March 2012.
