That link you posted said that half a half a gig of ddr5 outperformed 1 gig of ddr3 by 8%. In this case we are comparing 5 or more gigs to 3 also the rumors state that Microsoft has added some extra technology to deal with the limitations of the slower ram meaning that 8% performace increase is negligable, and actualy the Xbox's ram situation is much better than ps3.

Their motivations dont really concern me. What concerns me is them making a system that is better then Microsofts because i know microsoft doesnt really care about gaming or gamers. If Sony ceases to exist you will pay out the ass just to game. You bought the 360 for how much money and spent how much in fee's to play their console online. If you've had a 360 since launch you've basically purchased the system 2 times. No gamer in his right mind should want microsoft to win.

Sony Playstation is a Gaming Console and thats what i expect from them. I dont care who they copy as long as what they deliver is better then the competition for gaming. Thats what i want. I dont know what you want.

He's forgetting that the specs have esram and dma which will offset the load just like the 360s but these arguments are pointless .

Their lack of exclusive titles from the microsoft brand are minimal

When epic wanted to provide FREE DLC to gamers in gears of war, Microsoft Made them charge a fee.

Lackluster sequels to their flagship Halo.

The price of xbox live is a joke and the fact you have to pay money to play with people online is pathetic.

The system was made like a tin shack and breaks all the time.

They have clauses in their contracts that state the games released multiplat have to look identical even if there is potential for them to look better on ps3.



This tells me their r&d/quality/marketing/and department heads are schmucks who only care about money and not delivering an epic product. Stop buying their gaming system.

Man it will be funny when Sony charges for online play this time and this tired argument is lost. And actualy willing to pay for online service would indicate that the people are more concerned with gaming. Hows that? I dont care about people who buy used games. If you bought a game for 9.99 and had to spend 9.99 to play online, At the end of the day, you arent being charged 50 dollars to have the function to play games /watch netflix/ watch espn on the console on top of whatever you pay for the game itself. But when the Ps3 offered the better entertainment value with BluRay movies, yall were like WE JUST WANNA PLAY GAMES!!!

I've had a couple of ps3's... Gaming on xbox live is far more entertaining than anything ps3 does. The xbox digital movie game works better for me than buying blu rays... so ah... If they go back in time and fix their infrastructure and create a network like xbox live they might have a shot. But me personally... I enjoy playing forza while streaming music off my computer.
