so no its not my internet anymore, the only people ive had issues "connecting" with were shugg and L@cat
and one lives halfway cross the world, and the other is impoverished(peep his dusty room in the pic further up this thread)
my connection with Silkk just dropped after we connected..which COULD be just ea servers
but as far as plugging into the wall, the ISP always refuses to give my ps3 a ip address..but i can plug my cpu/laptop into the wall just fine
1) Check the internet connection settings on your ps3 to see the ip address your router assigns to your ps3. Then go back into your ps3 to manually assign that ip address to our ps3 (manual).
your internet connection settings on your ps3 will probably display:
ps3 ip: prob 192.168.1.x
subnet: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.1.1 (normally your router address)
you should see the above when you go into your internet connection settings on the ps3.
for DNS 1 and 2, use the router address (gateway above) 192.168.1.1
After doing that shyt, you ps3 now has a static ip the router will always give it.
Then you can go into your router settings and DMZ that ps3 ip address. What DMZ does is open all ports on the specified router assigned ip.
