Its a middle stunt, designed to confuse the center/guard on who to block. The hope is by the time the center decides who to block, the other middle backer will have a free release to the QB (or ball carrier on run plays).

I know football breh, I don't just choose random plays in hopes that they work or look up cheese plays on youtube, I was raised around this shyt. shyt, play me again. I rarely spread the ball out now, took a page out of Shanahan's book and borrowed some philosophies from Chris Ault. But you not gonna call me cheese, especially when you rely on one damn thing.

And that catch bullshyt is just that, bullshyt. You show me a team without Calvin Johnson or Randy Moss circa 2000 that relies on and puts up huge numbers with throwing a fade route to one guy, all game.

i dont use the "fade" all game, it only comes into play from 25 yards out
