Above the fray.
they're not targeting "my" business because of something i've done personally. if my business is in an area where businesses are being destroyed and looted that's just part of it. unfortunate, but it is what it is.

my insured personal property isn't bigger than what's going on right now with the masses of my people. someone coming to stick me up when I'm there, or especially in my home, is different because i don't know if they mean to do me harm or not. but property can be replaced.

i also went downtown to the protest yesterday and they tried to start rioting and looting. if i would've got caught up in that the wrong way with the police or just gotten hurt or injured some other type of way, that's just the price i would've had to pay.

i've always said that if someone decided that i had to die, for whatever reason, for Black people's collective situation to improve than that's just what it is.

Brother when it comes down to it we don't have anything to do with any of this. At all. Everything we're seeing is a direct result of white people's collective sickness and inability to exist like regular human beings.
I hear and respect your opinion. My take is that it's the criminal element and outsiders who are responsible for the rioting and looting. Neither of those groups cares about justice for George Floyd, or for Black people in general, so in turn I don't give a single fukk about any of them.

Just yesterday there were protests in downtown Newark. Newark is still the cultural capital for Black people in (north) Jersey, so we all support, follow and have a stake in that city.

Former activist turned mayor, Ras Baraka, who tries his hardest to uplift, employ, and protect Black people. He took part in the protests yesterday.

Yet were there STILL a handful of losers who tried their best to set it off and start trouble.

look at this loser in the photo

A grassroots mayor who is as much for the people as a politician can be, Black police chief and top ranking police officials who are FROM Newark.

and a handful of motherfukkers STILL tried to cause chaos, not for justice, not to force arrests of the other cops, but just to do it.
fukk THOSE MOTHERfukkERS

Luckily the grassroots leadership was too strong, and the losers lost. The peaceful protestors were as angry, fed up, and frustrated as anybody, but because they are really about change......they didn't come down there for foolishness.

Of course the ATL
Point me to that

Ive been thinking about this quote from you and been seriously wondering if you’re serious. Did you hear her speak at her press conference on Friday night? That was raw, impassioned and emotional. Do you not see that? If not I’m not sure what you need to see to feel the empathy our Mayor has for our city and community
