ATL to MEM
And that's what pissed me off. Her solution was to vote? Like bytch do you know why folks are mad out here? Do you know the history of police brutality. These elite privileged mafukkas in Atlanta are not on our team. Been telling folk that shyt. She called 2 damn rappers to address the city during the protests. That should tell you where her mind is.

Well if people voted we wouldn't have a supreme court and appointed judges that give cops the leeway to do shyt with damn near universal impunity. I know folks don't want to hear about voting because the effects aren't immediate but it would have a profound effect down the line.

By not voting what you give is a system that remains antagonistic towards you and the only relief comes from one off rulings which don't affect society as a whole.

Voting only goes so far. We had the same issues under democratic presidents, and with a democratic majority in the house and senate.

No, I am upset at her tone and her lack of empathy for the root issue. "Just vote" isn't what the fukk we wanna hear.

I think she had sympathy. I just found out that district was an economic development district and had a good amount of black businesses that started with city grants.

Dk if thy got hit tho

you don’t think she has empathy for white supremacy?

she’s from Bankhead, went to Doug High and went to FAMU..

It’s her job to stop folks from destroying her city. This isn’t some bumblefukk town in middle or South Georgia..this is the city with the most influence in the southern United States.
