That's interesting. So when it comes to mixed people blowing up you're saying black mother/white father >>>> white mother/black father

:jbhmm:

I did not even factor the reverse because I was not really thinking of mixed people.

Hence why I said black women with black mothers because a segment of the coli deem mixed women black, which I do not.

but what I meant is women with two black parents, I am sick or mixed race women being pushed as black women whether the mother or father be black. RnB sucks now because we need black women artists.

I remember when she was a commercial break artist at BET awards performing this

As soon as the commercial break came on, I googled her, downloaded this and been following her since.

I knew she was too talented to not make a name for herself.

I did exact same thing breh!

I remember how fukking heated I was at BET Awards for going to break over her performance, tbh that move right there was one of the main reasons why I stopped fukking with them. But my expression just as soon as I saw her song on iTunes afterwards tho :blessed::noah:

HER music is gonna age like some of the finest wine you’ll ever taste

She is, music industry is pushing too many biracials and peg them all as BW it’s getting annoying.

She’s Blacker than a Kehlani or Doja Cat that’s for damn sure nor does she got a bad habit of incessant hoe babble compared to some of her contemporaries neither :heh:

She is a good artist. Kehlani nor Doja cat are black to me they are all in the same category as far as mixed race women that are pushed ahead of black women in entertainment industry.

but H.E.R has some good stuff a I just hate when brehs want to pass these women as black but have issues with the male version of these women being considered black men.

her and saweetie are both on pinay culture push. It’s not cool for women in entertainment to brag about being black. Every interview they have is how connected they are to their Filipino culture nary a peep about their AA culture.

Filipino people and black people is a strangely common mix isn’t it? Both seem to date out of their ethnicity at fairly high rates.

saweetie
HER
Anderson Paak

I know a couple Filipina girls that mostly date black dudes. And a black female friend has a Filipino husband

Before I thought you were just being antagonistic for the sake of it but you made some valid points

This is actually quite a multilayered topic
