the new Lincoln's looks so much better imo... I hate how GM uses the same interior pieces across different platforms, youll see the same knobs/cheap plastic in a cts as in a malibu.

Plus they age terribly, look at a first gen CTS next to the same year A4/TSX/3 SERIES/IS :mjlol:

in all fairness, I get what you're saying, but most parent care brands share parts with their sub-brands.
Caddy, Chevy, GMC.
Ford, Lincoln, Mercury.
Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini.
Honda, Acura.
Toyota, Lexus.

etc...

there's always a familiarity in equipment, minor or major. :manny:

I understand that but when the parent company isnt exactly known for craftsmanship/fit&finish, it really becomes noticible when parts are shared between cars that are across a wide price range.
