Prominent Black Attorney Ellis Pittman Gunned Down in Mississippi

Ellis Pittman was an inspiration because he was not only successful, but he remained in the Mississippi Delta in hopes to improve the area and still prospered.

He was killed while deposing a young black man he allowed to do some construction work for his home in the past. Pittman was suing him because the work was substandard. The deposition took place in Pittman's law office.

I really think he was killed because the defendant was really what would be called a hater who resented this successful man.

Pittman also owned a hospice care center.

It wasn't a c00n statement, you can't trust everybody, I don't think it has anything to do with how successful someone is. If the lawyer had money, he should've researched and hired a professional Black construction company. A lot times people do shyt just to pat themselves on the back, you get what you pay for.

On the other hand, there may be more to this story than what's being told. Dude could've had thing for his wife and felt that killing him would get him the woman he wanted. I know dudes that have shot dudes over p*ssy more than money.
