Three 6 Mafia really the most underrated. Modern trap music, the kind that’s been dominating for like a decade now owes ALOT to the kinda shyt Dj Paul and Juicy J were producing in the mid to late 90s.

Paul remastered this shyt from 94 and it sounds like it coulda been a new joint from the last few years:

Was Excited when everybody got back together,,, for this new track and Group ,,

then koop and lord infamous passed away :to:

DJ Paul, Juicy J, and Project Pat are 3 of the 4 most influential rappers on the modern rap scene. (Paul and Juice for the production, Pat for the flow). The only rapper who is as influential on these new nikkas as they are is Gucci.

Pat stay in my rotation to this day.

the flow on the second verse :wow:

just the fact that he can craft an original flow and ride for the whole verse or song even :ohlawd:

this is what southern lyricism is

original cadences & flows...clever, honest, straight forward bars that stick to the ribs, get underappreciated in real time and bit to death years after the fact

nikkas like Pat, Juvenile, Trick Daddy...they need their flowers..they were so much more than club hits everybody know
