No Offense, but the songs you posted, coupled with the fact that you had to highlight that you're a "NY nikka", proves that you're not a real Pat fan, and you "discovered" him smoking hookah and browsing tumblr with Asap Rocky......Just admit it.
But you were right, Project Pat has one of the illest flows of all time. Its evident and he's proved that he can rap on any type of beat....

to breh for making the thread and all... but it's obvious he just stumbled across Pat for the 1st time when he made this thread.... either that or just a casual listener. nikka picked some of the weakest tracks Pat ever made to kickstart an appreciation thread But it's all gravy... it's the thought that counts.
BTW... in what way is Pat lacking lyrically?
Given the particular sub-genre in which he operates, you'd have to say he's up there with the best.
Paints dark, gritty portraits of street life... littered with clever wordplay, metaphors & punchlines.
Has vivid & descriptive story-telling capabilities... up there with anybody in that arena.
And has one of the GOAT flows & delivery.
So where exactly is he lacking lyrically?
Given the particular sub-genre in which he operates, you'd have to say he's up there with the best.

My first cousin was a 3-6 stan back in the day. back in middle school-high school(98-04), I was bumping jay and nas and all the classic 90's shyt and when I went to his house he put me on Project Pat. Getty Green and Mista Don't play ect.

We used to listen to music loud as fukk before football games in high school. My cousin was captain so he made sure we was bumpin' Project Pat and 3-6 before games. Had them white boys ready to kill people by the time the game started.
only an NY nikka would complain about lyricism in a pat record.
There's many ways to tell a story. thats why NY struggled to understand southern rap for so long. If you didn't rap like them, they wouldn't play your song on a radio.============

Wasn't 3-6 music banned in some clubs at one point because as soon as they played that shyt, something always went down. Don't quote my on that but that's what I heard back in high school
