I know its a rumor but it really seems like a far fetched one. If you're a bond fan you know how much trouble they have putting together one movie. You really think they're going to be able to crank out multiple movies to constitute more agents and a universe? FOH

Man if Barbara and Michael do that...ugh. They were close once when they were going to do the Jinx spin off, and apparently it was going to be in the vein of casino royale, which would've been interesting. But thankfully it didn't happen. Now if they did a Moneypenny movie with her in the field I could get with that. But I don't want to see multiple agents. I've got no interest in 001-6 or 008 and 9

Oh it's strong. I remember listening to a podcast a year or two ago and the two hosts, also Bond nerds, said "Nah" when the idea of a Bond universe came up, saying there's no need and why would they do that and it would dilute the brand and we really don't care about anyone other than James, etc etc and I had to stop cutting my grass to give this reaction

I have no problem with this. They have a more established universe already than any of these other cinematic universes. They could do Rogue One-esque one-off films. One of the bigger complaints I heard about Spectre was Waltz being underutilized. You're telling me you wouldn't take a solo movie, starring an actor of that caliber, about Blofeld? shytty films aren't stopping any of these other franchises, why should it stop this one?

I can honestly say that as much as I love Bond as a franchise I have no interest in anything outside of 007 himself.
