They can both be wrong but they’re both not the same thing

If you paint and leave your art outside that you already sold then I remix it and sell it, that’s fukked up in its own way but we never agreed to do business.

If we paint together to make some bread, then you steal more of my paintings and sell em, that’s a different fukked up - a more personal fukked up if you will

No, Knxwledge can be right. The copyright for the freestyles Meek did for those hood DVD's could be owned by the videographer especially if Meek signed anything saying so. If there was no paperwork signed it's still assumed the videographer has ownership rights. Unless Meek hired them to record him he doesn't own the footage. Meek could claim rights to the performance if it's used without his permission but that's a grey area for a judge to decide.

It's not worth the effort and money to fight it when it can go either easy.
