Prodigy's verse on Drop a Gem On Them was the greatest thing out of that East coast-West coast beef

So talkin shyt from the other side of the country after you got clapped and then packing extra security when you go back is tough now? Lol

Long Kiss Goodnight and Drop a Gem on Em both are superior to Hit Em Up.
Hit Em Up was a crazy diss record when it came to Biggie and Bad Boy, but Mobb Deep is a completely different story because Pac only mentioned them in the rant.

:mjlol: that was the rumours then bruh. And we talking about 1996 not 2015 Wu wasn't fukking with Suge paper wise. Also, DR East wasn't going to have Eric B running it
It's unfathomable that Wu as a whole would have signed to DR East. They might have picked up Masta Killah and U God :ehh:

Drop a Gem On em was weak and people just laughed at Mobb Deep cause Pac was riping them fools apart on songs...
What songs? He mentioned them on Hit Em Up in a rant, then he died. Everything else, including the line you quoted on Makaveli, was after he died.
The battle was over. He died. :yeshrug:
While it was on - Mobb easily took the W on wax.

:dahell:

.....Did you even read what i wrote?

Cause if you did then you would know i was talking about PAC straight up saying MOBB DEEP name wile they were just throwing back subliminals.

:what:

Where the fukk you get Biggie being scared to go to Cali from?

Im talking DISS TRACKS being made not fist fights.

:snoop:

Pac diss you and your WIFE and all you are allowed to say is "My wife is going to have 2 pacs...get it"? But them Pac dies and its now a green flag to go full steam ahead with a diss track?
I think in the unreleased version of Long Kiss he explains why he didn't say names, something about not wanting to give him attention.

:salute:
Drop A Gem On Em > When We Ride On Our Enemies
But, that song actually had Pac going at the Mobb with rhymes. And it was brief but good. People forget Mobb Deep didn't even make Pac's verse on Hit Em Up.
You can't compare a rant to a verse :mjlol:

When We Ride On Our Enemies > Bomb First > Hit Em up

I'm not not even gonna front like When We Ride On Our Enemies is not a great record.

Hit em up on the other hand was the most overrated diss record ever i found it laughable.

fukk it. Here it is...at 4:49. You were right. This also proves that Long Kiss Goodnight was recorded when Pac was alive and thus you could argue
Long Kiss Goodnight > Hit Em Up

I always thought this. LAD was an answer to rappers hating on him. You know he had special record for Pac on that album before he was killed in Sept. Long Kiss Goodnight was known as Kiss Your Ass Goodbye but he changed the name. IMO I have no doubt he had a diss record ready to get at him before Pac passed.
