Prodigy's verse on Drop a Gem On Them was the greatest thing out of that East coast-West coast beef

Wish Pac didn't die so Mobb Deep n Biggie could of did a collab diss track ..sweet JESUS

somebody on here said prodigy turned down "last dayz" cuz he thought biggie was corny.

not sure if true. but a mobb/biggie diss track wouldnt have done damage. pac had plenty of backup if needed.

You mean the same market where Biggie sold 4 Million around the same time period :ohhh:

:comeon:

biggie was a commercial rapper.

It was double disc album with a sampler bonus disc attached :stopitslime:

It was counted as a double album...meaning one million+ units sold...the same amount as the infamous & hell on earth combined...and sold more than prodigy and havoc's solo discog put together.

And i'm from the East Coast and Mobb Deep were a non-factor (pre quiet storm) back then in my city...but you can find nikkas that were bumpin Ball&G and UGK tho :sas2:

what east coast fantasy land are you from where nobody listened to mobb deep but niccas were 8ball, mjg & ugk fans?:mjlol:

i should stop typing but im in a nice mood.

it was promoted as rap's 1st triple album.
that crew-cut video with no limit & psychodrama was classic and all, but theres no way that it doubled his buyer base. to a millie.:pachaha:

I didn't say the WHOLE east coast...just my city and region (DC metro area)

have absolutely no recollection of this song or album in '96...but i remember Ridin Dirty gettin heavy play out here in the same year....i barely know anybody that fukked with lMobb Deep out here outside of a few NY transplants....if they couldn't even capture the whole east coast that's pretty tellin about their probable lack of reverance nationwide.

Once again...

Yeah likewise, Im tired of rap guys whose fakkits
Pure shuteye, and swole up your whole outside
I baptize, nikkas get wet, put up your backside
Your claptized and set straight, put on your head straight
Watch out for,
These upstate cats be leary of you
Yeddy nikkas wit gats plus the walls on they backs
Rikers Island flashback of the house you got scuffed it in :merchant:
You would think you gettin your head shot was enough but then
Now you wanna got at my team,
You must of been drunk when you wrote that shyt
Too bad you had to did it to your own self
My rebellion, I retaliate, I had the whole New York state
Aimin at your face :dwillhuh:
At the gate, bottom line of top soon as you came through
Shot through, don't even know the half of my crew
I got a hundred strong arm nikkas ready to rock the shyt
Clocks tick, your days are numbered in low digits
You look suspicious, suspect nikkas is bytches
Get chppoed up, Grade A meat, somethin delicious
And laced back up, 2 G's, one for stitches

Then reconstruct your face and learn how to speak again :dwillhuh:
My Mobb's like a bunch of wild Puerto Ricans
Wit bangers the size of African spears
It's warfare in the arena, you turn arenas into house of horrors
Its terrodome, when you see my click you need to run behind shyt
You gotta gat you betta find it
And use that shyt think fast and get reminded
Of robberies in Manhattan you knew what happened
60 g's and one for gun clapping
:to:
Who Shot Ya? You'd probably scream louder than an opera
New York gotcha, now you wanna use my mob as a crutch
What makes you think you cant get bucked again :whoa:
Once again, back in the house once again
Live the life that of diamonds and guns
And now gems pull gats like a basehead pull on stems
The Mobb got the bomb run out and tell a friend
Its the Infamous..

Yeah...I remember ridin in my homies whip on the way to school listening to this, we four deep and everybody's face was:ohhh: on p's verse...I don't know if PAC was dead or not then but he had already been robbed in NY, and it was just a cold hatred felt in the lyrics...it was ill:scusthov:

DMV isnt really east coast like that.

i thought you were gonna say pittsburgh or something tho. same chit.

and youre a weirdo anyway so im not taking you word regardless.

Technically a double album because that 3rd disc was just a Suave House compilation :manny:

doesnt matter.

it was promoted & registered as a triple.

Ps verse was nice. The song dropped before PAC died. I have it on tape from Stretch ad Bobbito from the summer. That song is tuff!!!
After PACs death the album dropped and seemed like to alot of people they were dissin PAC after he died which is why that song is sometimes hated on.

Same goes for Who Shot ya that was recorded BEFORE Pac got robbed and it was originally just 1 verse and he originally said Fukking with biggie smalls it aint safe.. he later changed it to say fukking with B.I.G.

Nahhhhhh

Tupac invading the Source Awards, rocking Out On Bail over a Tribe beat :pachaha:

I don't even fuk with Tupac like that but :ohlawd:

:snoop:

Whole post is ducktales.

That ain't no Tribe beat, he didn't "invade" shyt...

Even Pac himself said his performance was miscued and he didn't intentionally interrupt Tribe's acceptance speech.

You guys gotta stop with these John Henry's hammer stories. The real ones are good enough for yall to be "enhancing" shyt.

If I look right at you and your "Mobb" in the eyes and say "fukk YOU bytch ASS Mobb Deep nikkaZ!"

then you and your "Mobb" turn your backs walk halfway down the block and say "fukk everybody that don't like us"

Who won?

As far as Long kiss goodnight...

"nikkaz talk a lot of shyt but that's after I'm gone,
Cause they fear me in a physical form..,"
