They mastered rapping with an American accent, just like how UK rappers back in the 90's used to rap with American accents. Yeah P was going hard in the late 90's and 2000.

LOL it is strange to not perform in your natural voice. That's why I can't listen to 90% of British singers sounding like they're from fukking New York lmao. I cringe.

But, yeah in and around 2000 nobody could tell me anyone was better than P. the only emcee that came close was DMX and Nas but P. was the realest at the time. I'd throw in Pun but he didn't have enough music and Noreaga fell the fukk off so hard after 01/02.

I actually don't mind folks doing music in different accents as music is art anyway. I also listen to non-English music usually Japanese and occasionally romance language music. I always thought Canibus came close to P or even better than P, but by 2000 Canibus fell off for reasons that weren't his fault.
