Been lurking in this thread...wanted to log in to say y'all did a good job in here.

P's death got to me more than I thought it would, idk if it's because I'm listening to his music so much, shyt just keeps hitting home again and again.

When people say it's harder to process larger stature celeb deaths like MJ or prince because they seemed "invincible" or almost unhuman, I find the opposite to be true. P was a legend within his own right of course, but he was also just that nikka P, he wasn't larger than life, and that somehow makes it harder to process in my opinion.

I remember watching a lot of his interviews pre jail...to be honest dude tired me out with what I defined as tough guy talk. But now I'm watching his post jail interviews....I'm realizing he mellowed out a whole lot. It's cool to see. Wish I'd watched more of them at the time.
