I was just listening to Nightime Vultures and I'm starting to think Prodigy's verse was a diss to Noreaga. There are a lot of parallels between Prodigy's rhyme on that song and the shootout he described in his book with Noreaga.
It obvious that P was talking about a rapper on that song.

I know Halfway Thugs was a Note diss towards Prodigy.

The timelines seem to match. :ohhh:

Found an old CD in the car with this track:

I love this track. P killed, flowed the beat and went in with extra fukkery/no fukks given attitude

"If it called for it even popping kids and woman" :dame: :dead:

Miss P man, he didn't give a fukk but you knew he wasn't serious with these lines

The final version is still the best but do ya'll remember the early street version without Nina Sky, the different Alchemist verse, the longer Illa Ghee verse, and Prodigy holding the big ass machine gun taller than him?

That Illa Ghee verse :dead:

Sean Price called Illa Ghee the "Hold you down dude" :pachaha: But he later recognized he could actually rhyme :wow:

:heh: he had the sexual assault bar on there too.

See, I've always wondered if Illa Ghee actually wrote most of his raps. :jbhmm:

I think he did, but he always sounded like who he was rapping with. On Hold You Down he was doing the 'talking at you' style rapping that Prodigy was doing at the time.

On Hell on Earth he was rapping just like Prodigy and then with Sean Price later on he was rapping exactly like Sean

Or it could just be that he was inspired by the people around him.

I think Illa Ghee writes his own stuff. I don't think Sean Price would've Co-signed Illa Ghee if he wrote all his stuff. and that social graffiti album by Illa Ghee is fire. He can definitely spit

The bad joints on that album are really bad but the good ones are really good and the album was a little over hated on at the time. By me too.

P thought the album was too G-Unit and that the outside producers didn't produce that Mobb Sound. :dwillhuh:
