Word, thanks for the info on florenfile, I'll give that a try. Both sites are great resources tho for older/obscure hip hop that isn't on streaming. Everyone should def keep them on deck.
I def agree that Producto is a good place to find more obscure stuff that even 94hiphop wont have, just got a Big Noyd album off there that I couldn't find elsewhere (low bitrate but better than nothing) check out goldhiphop.pro also, its like 94hiphop and has most of what they do but also has new releases and R&B which 94hiphop has no R&B and not as many new albums. Also for those trying to beat the system and not buy florenfile or takefile premiums if you google what album your'e looking for followed by keywords like mediafire, rar, blogspot, mega etc you can usually find what your'e looking for.

Didn't know about goldhiphop, I'll check that out. Good looks.

And yea, I been doing the google trick for years lol "320kbps" is another good keyword. Pro tip on that tho, Google blocks a lot of the search results to stem illegal downloading, you'll actually get better results with Bing. All and all, I must say that the search results aren't as robust as they used to be like back in the blog era, and the sources that come up seem to be increasingly shady. Having a reliable source like 94hiphop and Producto is def important.

I agree with that for sure, I tried to download something from rap descargas or rap-under-streetblogspot.com its called now and chrome blocked it for malware, part of the problem is the hosting sites these blogspots use, also so many of them haven't been active for 5 or 10 years so most links are dead. 94hiphop is probably the best one out there because they include the rip logs so you can see its an actual CD rip and not a WEB release, or if it is they state that. But yeah, all those sites and blogs are important because there's so much that is not on the streaming services, not to mention mixtape's, bootlegs and unreleased music.

@1031 heres the FLAC with tracks, cue & log (closest thing quality wise to having the cd) can't play FLAC files in itunes but throw them in VLC player and it's like playing the actual CD. I used to not really care or even look into the quality of files or the source or any of that stuff when I would download music, a few years ago I started to learn more about it all and really notice the difference between the varying bitrate quality of mp3's and FLAC, WAV & AIFF files and noticed how big of a different listening experience there is, the quality of your speakers or headphones will play a big part in that too though. I spent the past couple years swapping out mp3 albums for lossless rips where possible.

If you need to play it in itunes or don't care about the quality improvement that comes along with having larger file sizes when downloading FLAC or WAV or whatever then heres a 320 link off producto, it's a third the size of the FLAC

You may already know this, but believe it or not soulseek is still active. I know, I know P2P sharing in 2020 lol, but you can find a lot of obscure shyt on there still.

I found it difficult to figure out how it worked and gave up rather quickly without putting in much effort, maybe I should revisit trying to figure it out again, there's been a couple random CD's I can't find in lossless quality recently.
