:ahh: you guys are throwing it back to 07-09 when P was my favorite rapper..ain't complaining though :stylin:.

Good to see someone else that likes P from that era, he was droppin alotta slept on gems and in my opinion hes still droppin gems now. Anyone who wants the old Mobb deep should go out and cop the infamous or hell on earth. Obviously P and Hav were both better lyrically then but P especially switched up his style on Infamy on 01. He started rappin slower but he went harder and gave us some of the best trash talking of any rapper ever. I almost look at it like 2 different prodigys, the Prodigy from 93 to 2000 is one of the goats. And the P from 2001 to 2012 is a dope rapper

If Prodigy stayed on that clip he was at from The Infamous-Murda Muzik, he'd be co-GOAT with Nas IMO.

He took a step back since then, but not necessarily a bad thing. If P sticked with his old flows and wasn't rhyming and flowing like he used to, I feel like what he did on Hell On Earth would be slightly tarnished.

Instead, he slowed the flow, dumbed down the lyrics, hooked up with ALC/Sid Roams and kept talking that grimey sh1t.

And there's no doubt he can still GO IN, I.E. 3rd verse of Am I Crazy?

Ill never understand how an artist can be so good...and then decline as bad as some of them do later on in their life

Prodigy...Canibus...DMX...Shyne :comeon:

i know things change...I guess they all have their own individual reasons...prison...drugs....ect

But u put out such good music...ud think then later on when u lost it, ud be able to identify that its no good, and change it before it gets released
