Wasn’t feeling any of Jay Wrthys verses on this album. I like some of his music, like that tape with Cardo..but he can borderline ruin tracks sometimes. Wasn’t a fan of any the tracks The Game was on either.
Dern & Spruce (No More Parties in LA is easily one my favorite beats of all time), Eazy Call, Cold Ass 2 Step, Meet the Whoops, Fresh White T, and Since I Was Lil are all good.
Cold Ass 2 Step is probably my favorite. Suga Free funny as hell as always.

They have a signature style, NY Drill, it’s just trash and the worst production style in ages.It’s crazy how rap music started in New York, but the east Coast is the only region that doesn’t have a signature sound or style now.
West Coast rap beensince the 80’s and never abandoned its style or sound.
And DJ Quik > Dr Dre.

Not gonna lie. Not liking this too much. First off way too much Game for me and the sequencing of these tracks seems odd. Some of these guests as well....I just don't know man. This sounds like a mess, its all over the place. Quik should've curated this better. Just seems like he had a bunch of people come to the studio to record and just put this out. I didn't like hearing Game on Heartz of Men beat either. That just annoyed the fukk outta of me.

I've never made it this far into a DJ Quik project and felt so unmoved. This kinda caught me off guard by how uninteresting it is across the board. I'm only 5 or 6 tracks in.
Same. Idk wasn’t really feeling it outside a few songs. Not close to Rosecrans at all, this might not be better than the midnite life
