I don't think 24 works in a modern era. The entire appeal of 24 was Jack crossing the line over and over again in the name of getting results. Without Keifer and without torture it's just not the same.

Season 1 was the best. Season 2 started out really good but fell apart at the end. After that there where maybe 4 or 5 decent episodes in seasons 3 and 4.
I think the show became to big for what it was originally. Tbh when watching it back in 2006 I really didn't even expect a season 3.
