Eddie was also doing music with Rick James and it is already known that Prince and Rick had issues.
Rick put Prince on his tour when Prince was on the come up. Prince would open the show and steal some of the theatrics from Rick’s stage show and have the crowd going wild. So when it was Rick’s turn he couldn’t do the same shyt.
Rick was gon whoop Prince’s ass.
But he also saw that Prince was a legit threat as a musician, on his level and would double down on the fukkery.
