Agreed? We've seen what happens when mike can't bully his opponents and gets tied up on the inside.

Lennox by KO.

can we all agree? lmao.

nikkka please you have tyson stans out there who will forever believe on any given night, that the 86 prime tyson would have ko'd any heavyweight ever.

but going back to the question, as much as i disliked lewis, i think that lewis is a TERRIBLE matchup overall for tyson even a prime version.

Yes. Lennox Lewis would've always beaten Mike Tyson when both were at their best

While I give the edge to Lewis, it could go either way and Tyson has a good shot at winning.

Lewis keeps the fight on the outside and keeps Tyson at bay with his jab, he'll win. I'm not sure he'll knock out Tyson. Mike had a great chin. It took Lewis 8 rounds to finish Tyson off, mainly because he was hesitant to engage and put him away. And even when he did, it had more to do with Tyson being resolved to the fact that he didn't have it anymore and didn't even try to get up.

Tyson had a great chin and while he can't bully the taller Lewis and have his way with him, he can still be effective if he slips Lewis jab and gets on the inside. Even when they fought, Tyson was giving him some shots in the 1st round (only round he won). An aggressive prime Tyson could beat Lewis if he took the fight to the inside. Lewis chin was solid, though he did get put away by McCall & Rahman.

It would be a great fight to say the least

breh, lewis is one of the most hardest punching heavyweights of all time, you definitely make a argument that just as hard as tyson or even harder. lewis was 6'4 245 pounds, with that size, the range he had and handspeed, add that straight right it's

that uppercut was nasty than a muthafukkka as well too. if he didn't hurt his hand in that 4 round, tyson would have never made it past 5 rounds in that fight.

Prime Mike, with the head movement, the way he presented angles to his opponents and his blistering combination punching, would have knocked Lennox's big ass out.

:heh:

Lennox throughout his career only ever struggled with fighters his size who pressed the issue who could shrug off his jab.

Lewis is a combination of:
One of the biggest heavyweight champs of all time
One of the most physically strong heavyweight champs of all time
One of the most accurate heavyweight champs of all time
One of the greatest jabs of all time
One of the hardest punching heavyweight champs of all time

And incredible handspeed for his size.

Lennox Lewis is a matchup nightmare for Mike Tyson, and no one can offer up any reason why the inverse would also be true.

He jabs and smothers Mike all night and starts to rack up round after round with the right hand.

There's a reason Mike wanted no part of old ass Foreman.

Lewis was always at his best when he had something to prove.

Dangerous/Highly Ranked Opponents

Ruddock
McCall 2
Botha
Golota
Rahman 2
Grant
Tua
Holyfield x2 - Lewis he won the 1st fight IMO and the 2nd fight was more of a draw then the OG fight was.

Then the fights, where he was strugglin in but managed to pull it with a KO/Stoppage

Bruno
Vitali
Briggs

Outsdie of Tua & Holyfield everyone else was stopped from who I mentioned and tbh Ray Mercer & Tony Tucker were past it when Lewis fought them back in the early to mid 90's and Biggs was fodder and a punchin bag when Lewis fought him early in his career.

Lewis with Manny in his corner beats whatever version of Tyson, just because of the reach, jab and tekkers that Lewis had. Tyson best chance would of been pre-Manny Lewis
