There should be a rule where people should refrain from commenting about players they didnt see in their prime. I never talk about Magic Johnson or Isiah Thomas because i didnt see them in their primes. At 35 I'm old enough to have seen both but since I didnt really get into the NBA until 91. Therefore when these two are brough up i STFU.
Others should to the same

Born in the 80's fukkboy.

Im not saying he was a bum at all, im saying he didnt have a much better playoff career than KG comparatively speaking. Look up the team he joined early on and tell me they didnt have talent..(i just posted it). he joined a team with another big averaging 20 and 8 and was coached by both larry brown and pop. both of his rings are comparable to KG's run in Boston, and KG's title over the Lakers is more impressive than either of DRob's.

Doggy, Seems like you're saying this like Terry Cummings was a baller. Is that the same Terry Cummings averaging 22/8 with his team winning 21 games? :laff:

Someone please...I...I...I c...I can't! :laff: :laff: :laff:
Clones just looking at numbers instead of impact. The Cedric Ceballos Syndrome. No wonder you 're voting KG :deadmanny:

I'm still trying to figure out what KG did better than Robinson...

Poll being this close is :patrice:

Passing, pick and roll defense, toughness, rebounding, ability to play multiple positions, not underperforming in the post season 5 years straight.

Roberson led the NBA in PPG and averaged 17ppg in the first round in1994 against The same team Hakeem was toying around with in the WCFs that year

You don't have to see a player in his prime to recognize his greatness. If you do your research you can get a pretty good idea of how good a guy was.

KG.

Robinson sucks in the playoffs

What did KG do in the playoffs?

KG in his prime was dope, but prime D Rob was better. He get's a bad wrap for getting obliterated by dream in 95, but dream in those playoffs also killed shaq, malone and barkley.

Put D Rob in the league today and we're talking about 30-15-5 3.5 blocks and 1.5 steals a game :whew:

Again, post FACTS that back up what you are saying.

Before Duncan, Robinson had carried a team that had Sean Eliott as its second best player to:
  • 2nd round 3 times
  • Conference Finals once
  • He had 3 first round exits
  • Never missed dthe playoffs
  • Only season winning less than 50 games was when he missed 20 games

KG
Eliminated in the first round not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4 not 5, not 6 but...7 CONSECUTIVE SEASONS before he got Cassell and Sprewell.

Yes gentlemen. Your boy KG was out in the first round the first 7 times he went to the playoffs

You ever seen The Admiral run the court? shyt was unreal
The admiral would be unstoppable in today's NBA on both ends of the court. The rules and the way the game is played today plays to his strengths.... I know I was wildin out like :krs: when Hakeem was giving him that work over that MVP trophy (shyt was beautiful) but there is no Hakeem out there today. Guys like Hibbert can't run the floor with him and dudes like Bosh are to light to keep him out the paint......

I'm going with D-Rob all day :myman:

What i meant is you should not be able to comment on it. YOu can recognize and acknowledge them but not comment to the point where you are dissecting their carreer and shytting on them
Can anyone name 1 thing KG did better than David?
His fade away J when he was in Minny was :banderas: but David beats him in every other category and it's not close in any of them

How old are you? Were you born in the mid 90's or later? If so please STFU.

THey were always in contention going deep into the playoffs and even WCF (where Hakeem took him out) and thats with just Robinson carrying them. They only had 1 year when they didnt have 50 wins and I believe thats when DRob missed 20 games and they still won 47 games. You talking like He was Tracy MacGrady of Centerss. Dude took his team to a deep West's semi finals many time AND Conference finals once.

And who did Robinson have? Best teammate he had when he was the #1 option on the team was Sean Eliott. Rodman came through and helped on D. Avery Johnson has always been an AVERAGE PG and that's stretching it a bit.
Sean Elliot before the knee injuries was a really good athletic player. Not that player in the late 90's
