Show's old school. Has that Scott Hall mentality of only caring about fan reaction. He really gets it. But it doesn't translate to tv for some reason. :wtf: Feuding with Show has been a momentum killer, so that's mind boggling. What his feud did to Cody and the SES was :pacspit:

Not going to say I've always liked him in the ring, at times he's bored the shyt out of me. And I don't watch all of his matches but I've always liked him personally. To this day the only WWE film I've watched is Knucklehead. I think he could make it in Hollywood but if he sticks around once he's done I wouldn't complain.

Great interview, he always comes across as the chillest, most open minded dude. Seems more concerned with the biz as a whole rather than getting himself over.

Just finished the end of it...always said Big Show should never lose unless it makes sense. And of course he's a better heel than face...look at him. When someone gets pretty hot, you run with that but if there core is heelish, you go back to what got them hot in the first place when they can't adapt another way.

Creative input? Big Show is a guy who you can tell runs with the program. Heyman already commented on him like 5 years ago when he wanted to put CM Punk over in that cage match with Lashley and the 4 other guys but booking wanted Lashley going over and didn't want Punk to last. They probably want you to be different with creating your promo input but as for putting programs together? I doubt it unless you are proven and have a history of getting things done.

GREAT interview, I actually came outta this respecting him more. Show comes off as a real cool dude who seems to have a pretty good mind about the business. I wish his likability factor in this interview came off the same way in his wrestling character

He was pretty good in the program with Henry last year and he's been good recently in the feud with Sheamus, but before then he had been pretty stale for the last 8-9years imo. Not since his Heel run and alignment with Heyman had he been good.

I really get annoyed with this "old school" mentality --- when it basically means that if something worked before, it should strictly be adhered to now. Booking is often called "creative", meaning pushing boundaries and breaking new ground, not just regurgitating the past.

These old ass cats have this ridiculous belief that because something worked in 1986 in north carolina, it should always be done forever. World is different. We got the internet, ipad, ipods, 100000 channel satellite dishes, etc. Attention spans are shorter, especially after the wild monday night years. People arent interested in some hokey template that worked in Smokey mountain wrestling in front of 1,000 rednecks.

It's like they've never quite found the character that's right for him. He's got all the tools, but something holds him back. I remember Flair saying Show could potentially be the best ever, I think it was during his Hall of Fame speech.

And if he's got the :arn: cosign, you gotta respect that.

Still, he's been at or near the top of the card for about 15 years now, so we are definitely talking about a future Hall of Famer.

Great and revealing interview.

I give it to Orton. For how boring he is, Orton does have entertaining main event level matches

I dont like how Big Show wants Dolph to use the superkick though. Thats like telling someone to use the Stone Cold Stunner or the Rock Bottom. What kind of shytty advice is it to tell another wrestler to steal a finisher from the GOAT?

If the Zig Zag isnt over, its because they dont invest getting the finisher over. No one will ever forget "The Masterlock" because how storylines revolved around it. Same thing needs to be done with the Zig Zag

Big Show is right about all the hot talent waiting in the wings in NXT.

The Zig Zag is weak as a finisher. It should be a move he uses same way Rock used the Samoan drop, or HBK used the elbow. You know they'll never actually get the 3-count off of it, but it does its job. It's effective enough for that, but it's just not a finishing move for someone who's heading toward being a main eventer. They can't get that shyt over cause it's just not that dope of a finisher. He jumps up, grabs someone around their neck and falls with them... big shyt. Basically a reverse facebuster.

But yeah, Show knows his shyt. He ain't always my favorite guy on the roster but he comes thru when put in something worth watching. He is smart to how shyt works... he's old school to a point, but not completely Jim Cornette with it. You get the vibe that he'd instill a bit of old-school mentaliy combined with new-school ideas if he was ever to become a behind-the-scenes person.

Great interview from Show. I have been one of his major detractors this year until he started his feud with Sheamus. Anyways he was dropping some knowledge in that interview.

Why did he prop Bo Dallas though of all the rookies on NXT? :why:

Just NO!! :snoop:
