I'm black
I'm Jamaican
Im Aruban
Im American
See how easy that was
Read what I said a few times and let it sink in.
Youre prolly more white than black so i dont see the problemBut that's where it gets tricky
If i say
I'm black
And I'm white
I'm a c00n for being proud of my European genes just as much as my African genes(not that I am since euros were scum)
But I can't rep one piece and dismiss the other either because that's dishonest
So I rep the sum of all parts and not any individual part
I'm just dominican papi
Youre prolly more white than black so i dont see the problem
You can identify with more than one groupI rather identify as dominican. These American race labels need to get tossed in the bushes already. Why do I have to identify as any one part of what makes me me, when I'm more dominican than I will ever be African or European? I'm whiter than most Dominicans Yea, but my brother is darker than I am and so is my dad and my grandfather and uncles are all dark skinned and I love all of them. Why harp on petty unimportant skin color differences between family members and not on what we all have in common, our culture? shyt is silly.
Stop crying you bytch ass c00nI wonder if some of the posters here are actually white.. The ones that are professing black pride and calling dominicans "c00ns" or racist self haters.
Because that would be hilariously ironic.

I'll never call Dominicans c00ns. Have seen too many of them that look like my family.
One thing that I've heard from many is that they equate black to being African-American. They would make it clear that they are black but they are Dominican first and foremost but not African-American.
While there is those who look at Spain as the motherland, you can't lump all of them as that type.
