This is not going to sway a thing.
N.C. going crazy right now....I voted yesterday, but I left that question blank...first there is already a law against SS marriage, and then they (TV political commercial goons) were saying this would affect heterosexual unmarried couples with kids to get insurance, etc....but I don't if that was just a ploy or not....

I swear we got Fukushima blowing plumes of evil across the Pacific, and when was the last time MSM talked about this ......... exactly, around the anniversary, but has been out of sight and mind before and after that.......I think its crazy overall that for the last 2 election cycles the top three stories have been War/Torizm, Economy, and Gay Marriage, like literally trading places for top 1,2,3 spots.......like there is NO OTHER STORIES of value or worth being concerned about........like I don't know.......our Bill of Rights.......

but didn't obama say in an interview during his campaign that he believed marriage was between a man and a woman because of his christian beliefs? this is a pretty big heel turn.

The median voter say in this instance gay marriage whether for or against when voting for president isn't necessarily the same for the other median voter that would vote for president say for who they think may handle the economy better if that was their median issue.
Could it play a role in NC going blue to red, maybe but the independents (who have shown to make up their mind late when voting) median issue will more than likely be about economic matters this November. In short, this is probably a marginal issue in the big picture than say how it was in 04' when it was pushed harder then as a wedge issue.

Has Obama done anything for Blacks to put himself politically at risk outside of a "beer summit"? Latinos, unions and gays are getting theirs.. But the group that supported him with the highest voting percentage is getting "the checks in the mail" treatment...
