imagine if manchin loses in '22, and we get a 51/49 republican senate :mjlol: thread will look real fukkin stupid. especially if an SC justice died

He's not on the ballot this year, so other than possibly more of his self-respect, he's not losing much else.

:ahh:Also folks that comment about “whining about not getting things” gives you an idea of the kind of sociopath @Pressure is.

He thinks the only reason someone would advocate for stuff like this is because they personally need it not because they want others lives to improve.

@the cac mamba does the same thing too
You in here being sassy. :picard:

I have a highly cynical view of voters. And we have seen time and time again voter will reject things they view positively in favor for things that affect them more immediately. Just look at the recall in SF or the wave of tough on crime politicians being elected in liberal areas.:blessed:

As far as the rest of your of your projection laced rant, I do well. My job gave a 10% merit raise to my base pay to combat inflation and my personal business I just raised prices to reflect the increased cost of goods. :manny:

Truthfully, I vote based on ideological concerns because most of what dems offer don't actually benefit me directly.

This is a lie.

The WH agreed to Manchin's top line number and his framework and Manchin still killed the bill.

You saying the far left is "total victory or nothing," but Manchin got total victory and still chose nothing. :dead:
People on the left were willing to tank it. So why complain about getting nothing out of it now ?

:duck:

Manchin was never going to vote for it regardless. They literally put everything he demanded and he still wouldn't support it.
He's a goofy, but he wasn't the only one blocking it and there was major differences in what were priorities between those who weren't willing to go along.

In June 2022 it's hard to come at Manchin over his inflation concerns considering its the number one issues for Americans.

why i'm skeptical of mass shooting numbers (because there's 15 odd different interpretations of what one is), i was watching a Bill Maher monologue and he made some very valid points in regards to gun regulation
