alright chin ups and pull ups are opposite, my bad :to:

but how is all of that wrong, the more you switch it up the better. please tell me if bench pressing with wide vs narrow grip is any different. obviously it is, and the same goes for switching up chinups.

Interestingly enough, I've found the correlation between over and under hand to parallel: squatting vs. doing leg presses...


Someone who does overhand pull-ups, can easily crank out underhand pull-ups like nothing, but the same isn't true, when reversed...

I think a better correlation to squats/leg presses would be pullups/lat pulldowns.

You're right about being able to do pullups means you can do chinups.

I still say chinups are better for aesthetics and strength, tho :manny:

i do overhand just because underhand feels much easier and i figured if it is more difficult it should be better :laugh:

but i'll look into what @hawaii said tho.

Overhand Wide grip pullups is what i use, but i switch up with the underhand.
