Interestingly enough, I've found the correlation between over and under hand to parallel: squatting vs. doing leg presses...
Someone who does overhand pull-ups, can easily crank out underhand pull-ups like nothing, but the same isn't true, when reversed...

Are you trolling? Everything you just said is wrong.they are all diff exercises that hit diff stabilizers and little muscles.. do em all, switch it up.
do chinups (overhand), pullups (underhand), hammer pullups, then move your arms widers, less, crossed over, diff types of grips
you gotta constantly chnge with your exercises. my fav is still underhand close together.
