Cleveland had no double digit rebounder. We had 2 (Twin and JD). It boils down whether JD can stay out of foul trouble in how far we go.

I wouldn't go that far. Plug Ivey in at THJ spot and the offense is instantly better. Schroeder is definitely a good fit though because he filled a void that wasn't on the team at all. A backup pg that could actually run an offense. If they can resign him on the cheap I'd love to see him back.

Ivey is better player than thj. Schroeder not really a backup. He got starter abilities. He just so damn little that he food on defense.

All the young players showed improvement this season but me personally I’m not gonna fall in love and act like they all set and bout to have 4 all stars again. The fit is still clunky and Thanks to Cade being so damn good that They balled out this year but the eastern conference is terrible. Ivey is still young and improving, but i think his best usage on the pistons would be as a 6th man. But he also may be the biggest piece to upgrade the roster. We see they don’t miss him at all.

I don't totally disagree. I think at this point Schroeder is best off the bench, and I don't even think his defense is bad. He still got quick feet to stay with damn near anybody and be a irritant.

And I don't know if we got 4 all stars, but I'm at the point where I don't think they need to force a trade yet just to chase better. Internal growth and continuity matters, along with culture and chemistry. The pieces aren't bad together and they've gotten better as the season has progressed. Ivey didn't play with Ausar inn the starting lineup like they are now. If there's a good signing out there that makes sense this off season them go for it, but I don't think Trajon gotta look for any trades this early. Ivey is the best and most expendable trade chip, but that's something you don't even do until February imo. See how it looks with Ausar having an off-season to work on his game fully, let Ivey get a chance to grow with these guys, and evaluate if it needs a shakeup or just more seasoning. Either way these are much better problems to have than what we were looking at going into last off-season :manny:

For sure schroder best off the bench, but he not your average bench player is all I’m saying.

I’m not for forcing no trade but if it’s bonafide upgrades out there than you never know.

But on the other hand realistically are they gonna wait 4-5 years for ausur and holland if we don’t see sizable jumps from them next season. Ausur for sues needs to show offensive improvement next year.

I like holland and he might be the best of the bunch besides Cade but damn that white boy in Chicago looking like he woulda been perfect.

Oh we on the same page foreal now. Budzelis would have filled that "mobile athletic pf with some shooting ability" that we lack now. But I didn't think he was gonna be shooting like he ended up doing this season. Still, I'm not mad at the Holland pick. Watching him play and when certain things are clicking, I can see what Trajan was thinking and why he made the pick. He's not as rough scoring wise as Ausar is, and if he can put it together, there's a very blurry picture of a potential fringey all star kinda player there, if you squint hard enough. But you give them the 2 years to show if there's actually something worth putting a long term investment in, and move accordingly. I could see Budzelis filling in a slot on this squad perfectly though, especially with Tobias just being a short term answer at pf.

only thing is Phoenix fanbase is starting to turn on Booker. The fanbase is anyway .

If phoenix decides to blow it up and Booker names Detroit as one of his preferred destinations you kind of have to make a run at it . Probably would get outbid by Houston..Beyond that I agree .

Yeah Everybody expected buzelis to be a terrible shooter. Homeboy is active and don’t mind getting in there and mixing it up and challenging all shots. And he got handles and can get to the rack. He look like he gonna be a problem.

This dude Jake larivia came across my gambling radar once he got to the kings from memphis and started getting some burn. Watched him in a few kings games and he already cooked the pistons. He a free agent this summer. This the type of low risk former first rd pick you take a chance on instead of damn James wiseman.

East is weak this year/Detroit is going in hot already proven they can play with anyone this year both sides of the coast, def have a shot at the ECF's this year easy
I still don't think they have enough yet to beat Boston or Cleveland in a 7 game series. Everybody else though I'm comfortable with the Pistons chances. Still don't think Pacers are an ideal matchup with their dual stretch bigs, butt fukkit :manny:
