The funny thing is everybody wants to shyt on Detroit and talk about how it's not a destination city and athletes don't wanna come here... Until they do, then they all fukking love it and call it home. Unless it's a cup of coffee situation, once players experience the city they claim it forever. Nate Burlesson, Chris Chelios, Barry, Calvin, Herman, Sheed, Mahorn, Stack, etc. Even guys like Ish Smith, who's a career journeyman, said his favorite place was Detroit.
