In "The Wire" world, Tommy wouldn't have made it though Season One. He is the equivalent to "Little Man" who botched that hit with Det. Kima working undercover in the car.

I gave up trying to keep up with everything going on a while ago I'm just here for the fukery,kanaan one liners and occasional sex scenes
This is basically the only way to enjoy the show. You have to suspend logic and common sense for every storyline. The show gets by on the scenery/visuals, action, actors themselves, but most importantly the fact that there aren't really any other black shows with as big of a budget.I gave up trying to keep up with everything going on a while ago I'm just here for the fukery,kanaan one liners and occasional sex scenes

Much faster than it took for them to find out who Avon Barksdale wasfukk the dealers for a second, none of these detectives and FEDS could make it on The Wire. Imagine Lester Freeman and McNulty having five damn seasons and still not being sure James is Ghost.
For starters, they'd have info and intel on Ghost, Tommy, Kanan/Dre/Pink Sneakers......even would have been aware of Kanan's beef with Ghost loooong before Ghost found out himself.

its always funny to me to see Tasha begrudging Ghost his criminal activities. when this show started the nikka wanted to be a legit nightclub businessman and she was pushing for him to remain in the underworld and become the biggest drug dealer NYC has ever seen. do the writers even remember how manipulative Tasha is?
