Dre can't start a war. He mentioned that to Cristobal. So if he killed Ghost the day of the funeral, all hell would break loose. Even Jimenez cartel would look down on him. May even kill him for pulling such a stunt.

Forget the Mexicans and Dre, Tommy gonna have the mob after him for not following protocol.

Tariq does not see Dre as the bad guy. In his mind Dre gave him Ray Rays location and helped him avenge his sister. He doesn’t know about Dre snaking Tommy in the drug game. Nor does he have Ghosts perspective who feels Dre betrayed him but not telling him about the shyt Tariq was up to.
