Can definitely say this is best season of Power without question 
The real question is now, by the end of the season finale, whom will have the “Power”? I’m putting my money on Tariq. He’s starting to perfect the art of hiding in plain sight.

This episode showed the psyche of tommy. Holly really took a toll on him making him even more crazy than he was. Him off his dad didn’t make it better. We’ll see if Angela flips, probably not and just use this for a plot for next season. These last two episodes have been fire showing the way ghost and even proctor moves

Nah I feel like season 4 shytting on every season of this show. For me it goes 4 > 2 > 5 > 3 > 1Can definitely say this is best season of Power without question

Season 4 was lit for sure, but to me, this season feels like a lot more is at stake as we finally get to see the Power struggle from the characters. As if things are starting to unfold in a dramatic way.
This season is heading towards the end game so you can sense the tension as everyone is trying to Protect Their Neck.

Angela is pretty much dead to rights as far as I see it. With her meddling in the Tariq situation and now proctor letting Ghost know the deal, she has nowhere to go but down. Flipping on Ghost is her only option.

good damn ep....a lot of shyt went down and some decisions will definitely have to be made in that finale. Angie bae and ghost gonna have to stay strong

That was pretty weird. My only theory is that she was feeling herself a bit too much after making the big arrest so she decided to let Mok know that she knew who CI was to have “Power” over him. Especially since she was in a position to hookup him up with a good position.
Even when this show delivers dope episodes, the lack of strong writing shines through and fukks the momentum up.
If Mox was trying to set Angie up by leaving the photos out? Cool.
If Mox was trying to set Angie up by dropping a name? Cool.
But it makes absolutely no sense for Angie to find the photos and then ask for the name of the CI. Even if she didn’t know who it was, you mean to tell me she runs that department and can’t use her resources to track it down?
She couldn’t go and ask Proctor, at the very least?!?
As for Tommy... how can he not figure out that shady shyt has begun happening around his business as soon as his pops gains access? Nothing else has changed!
They actually hinted at a compelling motive for Tommy to not “figure it out” in this episode: that even if he did know, he might not be able to do anything about it at first because of Holly, and finally having a connection to his father.
Why not show Tommy piecing this together on his own over the season and wrestling with it, as opposed to him being oblivious to all his father’s shady shyt and pushing Tommy to another murder because of Ghost Ex Machina?

Tariq... I actually think they’ve done a great job. The fact that everyone hates him is exactly how we’re supposed to feel. But dear god, the lack of logic in his storyline. I wouldn’t even know where to begin.
Power is great fukkery. It is not great television. At this point, I would argue it’s fighting just to be good television.

Disagree. This is the second season in a row where they dragged out plot points that could have been resolved much earlier, just to dial up the tension for the final three episodes. But they did a much better job of it last year.
Most of this year’s drama should have been resolved by the halfway point. For example, Dre should’ve been murked early (even C. kemp acknowledged that was the original plan); his storyline would’ve been more effective if you frame it as Cristobal outright being forced to step into his shoes. Especially the issues between Dre and his crew. I wouldnt be surprised if those plot points were originally for Cristobal.
Instead they dragged it out for the sake of giving Ghost someone to glare at during daytime hours.

This was a good episode. A lot of ground got covered. Firstly, they had to dead Teresi. That's Tommy's biological dad, but not his parent. Tommy's real dad is the streets. Snitches gotta go. Tommy is loyal to the code. I'd bet Tommy draws closer to Ghost now because he's been trying to warn him the whole time and Tommy cant deny that. Tommy only has his mom and Ghost to actually call family. I like Vincent tho, got Tommy to do that shyt, just to "think" he's back in. they aren't gonna move his weight, they aint drug dealers. Dope is small beans, they do real hits. Tommy is pretty gullible, and that's sad to see.
Moving to Tariq. He doesn't know this life, not really sure why as a character he evens wants it. Just a rebellious entitled little boy. Interesting that as much as Tariq wants the truth, little by little he's piling on the lies becoming the exact opposite of what he seeks.He's lying everywhere now. "I want the truth, I want the truth". Niqqa please, stop lying, he hasn't looked in a mirror since he killed Ray Ray. "Erick Stark", claiming to be Kanan son to get his remains . This fool just handed the Italians who are NOT drug dealers a bag full of dope. No deal in place at all, just "Here, just move this for me".
A full blown idiot. He really told Tommy and Ghost that he took the real loss here. The only thing that kept Tariq alive is the fact he hates his pops just as much as Kanan did. Kanan was able to do his business because he was an unknown, bit level drug dealer. He wasnt on anyone's radar. Tariq is green as fukk. I'd bet the Italians will hand that bag of dope straight to Ghost for the info on Teresi. Kanan already spilled the beans, and they know that's his son. The Italians value family too much to do anything contrary.
Glad Tasha had no role this episode, just the way it should be. They need to keep it even less. She serves no role now.
Proctor is smart as fukk. he told Mak and Sax "James" may not drop that info, and they really gave him an out despite that and he made sure of it. When Ghost called proctor "family" Proctor did the right thing. Proctor still needs to get rid of the laptop, but I'm believing it will magically wind up in the feds possession to charge Tommy who they want nearly as bad as Angela. They got Angela btw, but those charges are so small and they know it, not even worth prosecuting as clumsy as her entire office has been. They knew she'd tell someone though. As for Angela...
The tracker ties Angela to Tommy, not Ghost. Tommy has to knock off Angela. I'm betting Mak dies next ep, Angela already said his first name, now Tommy has pics of him.
Lol at Dre. I can't believe Dre actually has a child, this nikka giggles talking about p*ssy. But he's good as dead. Really all I can say. End his character too.
Next episode should be lit, glad to see it will be extended.
Oan, Alicia Jiminez wasn't trying to kiss Julio at all. mouth all wide, all she wanted was some pipe in her mouth.

And yeah, I can easily see the writers flipping the script and Tariq isn't really Ghost son. It's being thrown into the script. Ghost alluded Tasha hates Kanan even though she has no ties? Please. Why? Why did she hate Kanan to the point of death back then? She wanted Ghost to kill him, not send him away. This time she called a plan to make sure he dies, and since she knows Tariq is so loyal to him, she didn't care if he was dead as well. All about covering her lie. Dirty ass female, living the lie. And yes, twins can have different fathers. Tariq never at any point liked his "family".

Well, at this point, he has to eliminate Angela from the picture as she has now become a liability. He can’t keep letting emotions cloud his judgement, which he has been doing with Angela. The dream of them being together and riding into the sunset is now over. He has to start planning for his end game without Angela.

Silver gonna be brought back into the fold at some point, he isn't gonna run from a subpoena. No way he risks jail and his career over Tasha. The Ray Ray murder is hardly over. Good thing he didn't cash that check. that's gonna clear his "involvement" with Tasha. He wasn't fukking a client, he was fukking his client's wife that was separated. It can't even be viewed as unethical. he's good.
